A greeting that is very common in Cuba is que tal (how are you), como estas and a hand shake. A greeting for a stranger is brief. Typically friends and family talk about how someones doing and their health. Common gestures in Cuba is maintaning eye contact and if not it can lead to insecurity when he/she is speaking.
